RE: hydro setup costs ?
$3-5 gallon bucket
$1-lid for bucket $.60-4 inch net pot $20-2 port air pump $.15/ft-1/8" air hose $5-4" air stone $15-10 lb. bag of clay balls *$20-3" hole saw bit for drill The hole saw bit is optional but it makes for a really nice hole in the lid and you only have to buy it once. I do use a 3" hole saw for the 4" net pots. It's a perfect fit. It is expensive but well worth it! The air pump has two ports but if you are only gonna use one port you can plug the other one. I am not sure about how much the clay pellets cost in a smaller quantity but they are very inexpensive and reusable. I didn't add it up cause I don't know how many buckets you want. Keep in mind that you need one setup per plant...however you only need one air pump for every two setups. Happy Growing!!! |
