I have said in previous posts that I am not an expert. I have read a lot of books regarding growing marijuana indoors and out... but am really only on my first grow.

I have made a list of things I have read that seemed like really good ideas...

So here goes in no particular order.

** The last two weeks of flowering leach the soil with water only... to get rid of any nutrients or fertilizers. Just so you are not smoking fertilizer.

** The last two weeks or so of flowering switch the light to 8 hours a day. This is supposed to shock the plant into producing more resin before harvest.

** When in the flowering stage keep the air flowing and the humidity down. This is also supposed to make the plant produce more resin.

** Do not use a spray bottle to water your plants. You can use it once in awhile to clean the leaves if need be. This is supposed to prohibit your water leaves from getting big and fat - taking up all the light. It also adds water to the plant and surrounding area which may promote mold growth.

** During the flowering stage the temp should be around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This is also supposed to promote more resin production.

** Marijuana thrives in air that has a CO2 level of 1500 parts per million. Regular air contains only 300 parts per million. This is just to reference the optimal CO2 level for marijuana.


Any one else got any tips..?? ( or things they have read )

I have heard of all kinds of wacky stuff... like turning off the lights for 4 days straight to shock the plant into flowering... etc..

This was one of the best guides I have read.
I have been doing a lot of reading the past few nights - thinking of starting my own space, just don't know which closet would be best.I am so confused on lighting and space though. Not sure whether to build a box in the closet or have just free standing plants

hey i have some miracle-gro do u think it would be good to use it? and if so when should i start and how much would i have to use?

I like your post about Growing Tips. It is very helpful and interesting topic for every one. you have such great knowledge about it. Thanks for sharing such kind of information. Growing healthy marijuana plants can be easy, and it can also be difficult. I am sharing some tips for it.

1. To start with, you will need some marijuana seeds
2. The indoor grow room should be well vented ideally with an extraction fan (the bigger the room the more powerful this needs to be).
3. Many indoor marijuana growers will use regular garden pots for growing, though just about any plastic or even metal container can be used.
4. All plants need light and there is no sun indoors. The light provided by the sun needs to be replaced with an artificial light source.
5. The ideal temperature to grow marijuana is around 75 degrees F or 24 degrees C.

BigBob really informative post. I also heard about indoor growing of marijuana using hydroponic system, means that the plants will grow without soil, they will grow in an inert medium and all of their nutrient requirements will come straight from the water. Its a better option when soil is not easily available.

umm water bottles rock for watering plants they injest water through there body like rain you have to change the light cycles to make it flower anything over 12 for veg then cut down to like 10/14 they say 24/7 wich will make a plant huge then go 12s which prolly works i cant afford it im testing it out humiditys for mold thats gay stuff umm i say get some plants growing bro i mean there usually hearty you need the right lights for it floros are awsome or just outside i say get something going use stealth dont get caught dont tell friends or theyll steal it always happens and good luck.

dam double posts dont know whats up i say to start buy a normal plant a big potted one get like a 30 gallon potter or something that looks nice some kinda tree house plant everytime you get seeds just throw it in the potter theyll sprout babys put them in some new soil under good lights and see what happenes i love combing online for info i miss overgrow baby ya know i learned so much from there i dont think the webs ever gonna be like that again it was bull they closed the site down.ask me anything and ill help anytime
