so a friend of mine got some white widow from a guy he knows out in cali. it was white and fluffy like a decent bud would be but it didnt give me the satisfactional feeling like most high grades would. but it was ordered from a "professional" who swears u and down it really is. i think its bs when people add names to buds unless there for real.

Yes, it sucks when someone just makes up a strain name for the hell of it.. educating yourself about different marijuana strains is the only defense after a while, you'll be able to tell what's what.

Yezzir, it sucks. Especially when they give mid-grade herbs the wrong nomenclature in order to bring up its reputation. To tell you the truth, you can say it's placebo or not, but it's very difficult to distinguish what one may be smoking unless the budtender/hook says something. Sativas are often a lighter shade of green with some exceptions. They are also more leafyer I found out than indicas. But no one will ever know what you smoked. Only the grower has the information.

Also your experience could have been affected by your environment, meal after munchies, etc.. I don't know since I wasn't there with you lol.
