Plant Identification
I have two outside plants and the hairs are purple more so then clear will they still turn redish brown when ready to harvest or should I look for a different characteristic?

you can either click the "Insert Image" button if the pics are hosted somewhere else, or you can upload them as attachments to your post

RE: Plant Identification
The color of the hairs (colas) do not mean much. When they dry and curl up, it usually means the buds are about ready to harvest. Better way to tell though is look at the trichomes. When they go from clear to milky white, start harvesting! You will need to use a strong magnifying glass or something stronger to see them though. I have a microscope.
