T.H. Seed prefers a straightforward approach to marijuana genetics, so they named this strain directly from its parentage. SAGE (Sativa-Afghan Genetic Equilibrium) is the male used in this hybrid. SAGE's balance of potency, hardiness and flavor have won this strain several awards. It has also been registered as a medical cannabis by the British government. Its distinctive Haze-dominant traits in flavor, smell and strength make it perfect to breed with the Sour Diesel, a very popular female clone from New York. Sour Diesel has a lemony sour flavor and a near-cult following at home. Sage 'n Sour likes heavy nutrient feeding in soil or hydro. This brings out her explosive multi-branch growth. As she surges toward her 1.5 meter (4.5 feet) indoor height, she stacks up dark green flowers and resinous spade-shaped buds. She tends to grow a little bent, adjusting to the weight of her abundant colas. During growth, this variety smells clean and sagey like her father, making odor control less of a worry. With heavy feeding and good light, yields of 500 grmas per square meter are not uncommon. The Sage 'n Sour high is fast, euphoric wake-up good for socializing.
