Power Plant Sativa Marijuana Strain

Power Plant

Dutch Passion

Sativa 80 / Indica 20
Origins: South African strains
Flowering: 56-63 days
Harvest: lateOctober

Power Plant derives from dagga, the sativa-dominant pot grown in South Africa and its neighboring countries. South African varieties are famous for their fast growth and early finish, in contrast to the slow growing season required by most tropical sativas. Power Plant develops almost visibly, finishing before halloween outdoors in the netherlands and even sooner in the semi-arid, mediterranean climates like Spain. This is a plant for growers who want strong sativa, ASAP.

Flexible and adaptive, Power Plant grows well indoors, whether in soil or hydro, multi-branched or in a sea of green. If pruned, she develops multiple compact buds that measure around 15 centimeters (6 inches) long. if she isn’t pruned, she grows three or four big 20-centimeter (8 inch) buds and lots of smaller popcorn. Power Plant’s foliage stays olive green with thin, seven-point leaves. Her strong, pungent smell may require odor control in regions where inconspicuousness is a must. She prefers an easy hand with fertilization, and her rapid growth is very uniform: plants finish at an even 70cm indoors (just over 2 feet), or 100 cm (3 feet) outdoors.

This power sativa’s smoke tastes sharp and lights up the neural networks after a few hits. Many sativa highs can be sustained during a serious working day, but Power Plant may prove too strong for work settings. Instead, she’s rocket fuel for a launch at 4:20 pm or later. With an uplifting, mostly mental high, Power Plant is quite compatible with dinner and freewheeling conversation; however, many sativa fans will also enjoy tripping out with a few tokes of this variety and a sketchbook or an interactive game.

I’ve been growing power plant for about 6 years. It’s a great strain for many reasons she never disappoints. Any of my friends who have tried it love it. It’s a favorite

I bought Power Plant and Ak-48 from Nirvana and I think I labeled them wrong. Because my PP doesn’t look like the pics here or anywhere and the Ak is still to juvenile to tell because I FIMMed her and she’s a bit stunted and the leaves that are growing out are rounded or blunt where I pinched them wrong, hence, FIM, Fuck I missed! One some of the leaves actually come out right, they kinda look like pics I’ve seen but not really. I’m sad to hear that the high is a bummer. And that it doesn’t have a lot of CBD. I was hoping it did.

This report is certainly right about it being a sativa that makes you tired. This is one of the very few sativas ive smoked that gave me a really tehargic feeling after the high had passed .
Most other sativas and even indicas dont do that to me so i found that strange for it to happen with power plant.

maybe because power plant is an inbred pure sativa which means 0% CBD… CBD is actually good for the brain where THC is not. CBD is whats reponsible for the creativity , its been proven to be a memory booster amd aloooot more . thc on the other hand is just good for being high . CBD is generally found in indica strains .
so im wondering if the lack of CBD is causing a crappy comedown

If you would have read correctly ^^^^. This is not a 0% CBD strain. Its making you tired because of the indica that is in it. Coming down from any kind of buzz is going to make you initially “Crash”. The CBD in this strain is apparently enough to throw some laziness your way. Still looks like so damn good bud though.

Power Plant is made from inbred South African landrace plants. There is no Indica influence present. Depending how and when its harvested can increase the cbn content, which is the “couchlocker” ingredient. If over mature (late-harvested), kept in too warm an environment, or stored for long periods, the buds will decarboxylate(a natural process where the carbon molecules are taken out of the equation), causing thc to degrade into more cbn than would normally develop. As well, thc receptors are mostly located above the shoulders. This is where thc displays its powerful effects with glaucoma, stress disorders and brain cancers. Cbd has its receptors mainly located below the shoulders, with a large collection around the internal organs. This is where it does it’s best work. Together they work on the body as a whole. Cbd is responsible for anti-inflammatory action, bone growth, killing bacteria, reducing blood sugar, slowing tumor growth, pain relief, easing epileptic seizures, and helps with muscle spasm. Thc is good for far more than getting high. And its cbn that’s generally found in Indica strains, hence “indacouch”. Last but not least, thc has excellent sleep aid qualities on it’s own. A high thc sativa strain may be speedy at first but when you come down in a couple/few hours, some can cause some record sleeps, however, much less stoneover than some high thc indicas. Just say know…
