Somini marijuana strain

Somini

Soma Seeds

Indica 60 / Sativa 40
Origins: Kush x Afghani / G-13 Haze
Flowering: 70 days
Harvest: late October

In the ganja world, the terms “kush” and “haze” promise connoisseur-grade indica and sativa, respectively. Somini brings together a Kush strain from the homelands of the indica varieties, and a sativa-dominant G-13 Haze father, to deliver a compact, nearly even combination of indica and sativa that prospers indoors or out.

Somini stays small, reaching 4 feet at harvest. With her minimal branching and controlled size, this strain is a great choice for sea of green cultivation and for gardeners with limited space. Somini’s G-13 Haze genetics extend her flowering phase beyond what is typical of indicas, but at 10 weeks, this is a moderate cycle for haze-influenced varieties. This strain stands up well to adversities and recovers well when exposed to especially hot or cold conditions. Given that haze sativas can be temperamental, this variety is attractive for beginners who want a little haze in an easy to grow package.

Outdoors, Somini is appropriate to subtropical climates, where she finishes in late October. Indoors, Soma prefers to grow this strain in soil using primo organic fertilizers such as guano. These plants come with a hearty appetite – they will eat a lot given the chance. Using this method, yields of around 1-2 ounces per plant can be expected.

Somini is a squat, dark green plant that turns purple when exposed to cool temperatures. Her buds are like compact clusters of popcorn; they become adorned with crystals as they ripen. The plants have a spicy green aroma that permeates the air and requires precautionary measures if neighbors are within whiffin distance.

The Somini high is strong and sleepy with a cured aroma and flavor of Afghani hash. It comes on fast, bringing that hooded eyelid look of extended relaxation. Soma and his wife Donamaria started started this variety together, and they believe that the result is a good strain for together time. So cozy up under a blanket on the sofa with some snacks, or take a lazy moment to lounge in a patch shady lawn on a summer afternoon. Enjoy a little downtime with some Somini and your honey.
